The Brisbane Green Factor assessment tool
Brisbane City Council has a vision to create a world-class, design-led city that drives and facilitates excellence.
Brisbane Green Factor, a green infrastructure ratings tool, plays a key role in ensuring new developments contribute to the city’s sustainability, quality of life and subtropical lifestyle.
You can carry out a green factor assessment using the online tool. The tool assesses a project at ‘site’ level (i.e. a development’s address). It’s designed to assess vegetation and green infrastructure elements outside of a building to determine the overall green factor rating of a new development.
You can begin a new assessment online or upload an existing one.
