Brisbane Green Factor

A green infrastructure ratings tool for urban developments in Brisbane City

Brisbane Green Factor has been developed by Brisbane City Council to improve green urban outcomes and help Brisbane achieve its goal of being a well-designed, sub-tropical city.

Brisbane Green Factor provides urban development practitioners with a clear methodology to assess the quality of any proposed green infrastructure in new developments, to optimise landscape designs and maximise the ecosystem services they provide in the context of Brisbane City Council’s strategic priorities.

Brisbane City Council acknowledges this Country and its Traditional Custodians. We acknowledge and respect the spiritual relationship between Traditional Custodians and this Country, which has inspired language, songs, dances, lore and dreaming stories over many thousands of years. We pay our respects to the Elders, those who have passed into the dreaming; those here today; those of tomorrow.

May we continue to peacefully walk together in gratitude, respect and kindness in caring for this Country and one another.
